CCA Singles – Alina Barbara Halina Helena Zofia
Aglaia Konrad’s work often takes the form of a book, each conceived as an edited archive of the ways in which she uses photography to investigate urban landscapes. This volume proposes a survey of the work of Alina Scholtz, Barbara Brukalska, Halina Skibniewska, Helena Syrkus, and Zofia Hansen – five women that conceived several residential neighbourhoods in Warsaw after the Second World War and redefined the city as a green haven – in the form of a travel diary that reflects on the role of architecture and landscape architecture in defining places of bonding and belonging.
