Gathering female voices in 20th century Georgian poetry – feminist voices who have been censured or forgotten throughout time – this anthology comprises works by 6 female poets from the end of the 19th century to the 1960s: Marijan (Mariam Tkemaladze), Esma Oniani, Elene Dariani Dariani-Bakradze, Sapo Mgeladze, Babilina Khositashvili, and Domenika Eristavi / Gandegili.

The poems were translated by Ana Gzirishvili, an artist and poet herself, who selected the poems around the subject of artistic material and its resonance in the poetry of these women.

With a foreword by Elene Abashidze.
